About Visible Ink

Visible Ink is Brisbane City Council working together with young people
Visible Ink is part of Brisbane City Council’s Program for young people aged 12 – 26. The program aims to ensure all young people have the opportunity to be an active part of their city. We provide direct pathways for young people to have a say in Council’s programs, and to engage in activities and communities around Brisbane.
This Visible Ink website is a space where news, events, audio, video, opportunities, information, and projects are made available to check out and become involved in.
Brisbane City Council supports young people in a number of ways.
You can check out our youth spaces here (along with each spaces projects), or download a copy of our Free and Low Cost Activities booklet or read about some of the projects we’re currently running.
Brisbane City Council supports a network of spaces (or buildings) being offered to young people under 26 and organisations that support them. The spaces provide free and low-cost facilities (like computer labs, meeting and rehearsal spaces) and resources (such as video cameras, projectors and sound recording equipment) to help people get active in the life of Brisbane. Visible Ink spaces help achieve Council’s Vision for 2026 and are for young people organising their own workshops, projects, events, businesses and community groups. The spaces provide on-site support from staff that can help you plan your ideas and connect to others that can help.
