Concerned about what’s happening to our environment but feel like you don’t have a say? Trying to do the right thing but it seems like you’re the only one who cares? Wanna be part of a crew of young people making a difference?
What’s it all about?
Being a part of a team is empowering and fun. Plus you’ll also:
- Get help with media coverage and online case studies of your projects
- Access resources including a venue, catering and help with event promotion
- Develop leadership and project management skills
- Have a great time working with others
Who can participate?
All high school students in the Greater Brisbane Area.
How do I get involved?
Two big events are planned for the coming months and we also hold regular meetings.
- Youth leadership for sustainability forum – Friday 9 July, 10am to 4pm) – RSVP by Friday 25 June
A full day of workshops, speakers and activities designed to support you in making a difference. Download the draft program here and the flier here. - Planting day of action – Saturday 14 August 12noon to 2pm – Northey Street City Farm – Meet at the corner of Edgar & Edmund Street.
- Monthly meetings – first Saturday of each month – various venues
