This inclusive learning community provides an alternative form of senior school education. It’s flexi, it’s funky, it’s helping young people become active citizens and fulfill their hopes and dreams, it’s Visible Ink Albert Park – the Flexi School Community.

Who attends Albert Park Flexi-School Community and what do they get up to?

Flexi School is attended by 60+ young people. They are all different shapes and sizes, and get to go after learning opportunities that suit them, within a safe and supportive environment.

There is a general timetable that the school community follows on a daily and weekly basis. The day starts at 9:30am and generally finishes at 2:30pm. Sometimes excursions and projects may be held outside these times. Each day begins with Check-In (half hour) and ends with Check-Out (15 mins).

Responsibilities

At flexi school we expect that you will:

  • keep Albert Park Flexi School Community activities Drug and Alcohol Free
  • Seriously consider all of the possibilities and opportunities that come your way while you are a member at Albert Park Flexi School
  • Talk about things; don’t let fear get in the way of you doing the things you want
  • Be clear and present when you come to school
  • Live up to the commitments you made in your learning plan and talk to us if you need to change them
  • Remember the 4 R’s – Rights, Respect, Responsibilities and Relationships
